Removing Cream from Raw Milk
One of the benefits of making raw milk a staple on your grocery list, is the many uses for it's cream: butter, cream cheese, sour cream, ice cream, whipped cream, etc. Here is one way to remove the cream from raw milk; however, there are other methods that work as well, such as using a turkey baster to suck it up out of the container, you can gently spoon it off in a wide mouth container, or use an ice tea container. You will need a minimum of 4 hours for the majority of the cream to rise to the top of your milk.
