This is one of my kids favorite flavors for milk. I'll admit, it's yummy and tastes like dessert. It's great for satisfying a sweet tooth with a more healthy option.
Banana Nut Milk
1 cup raw milk
1 organic banana
1Tbsp. organic, pure maple syrup
1 Tbsp. organic raw nut butter
1 tsp. vanilla, optional
1/4 tsp. cinnamon, optional
1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Store in the fridge.
TIPS
Very ripe bananas are more sweet.
You can also use frozen bananas. I like to cut very ripe bananas into 7 pieces and store them in a bag in the freezer. Whenever I need a banana for bread, muffins or a smoothie, I just pull out 7 pieces for each banana that I need.
